                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 1400
                   BLOCK OF NORTH JOINER ROAD, BEING ON THE
                   SOUTHEAST LINE OF NORTH JOINER ROAD NORTHEAST
                   OF EAST BRAINERD ROAD, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL
                   ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 1400 block of North
                Joiner Road, being on the southeast line of North
                Joiner Road northeast of East Brainerd Road.  An
                unplatted tract, being the property described in
                deed book 4373, page 71, ROHC.  Tax Map No.
                158L-G-16.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
